Biased reporting - CNN-IBN too in that league

Read this news about the death of a schoolgirl in the school: http://ibnlive.in.com/news/asthmatic-student-dies-delhi-school-faces-ire/90826-3.html and then this one: http://ibnlive.in.com/news/delhi-schoolgirl-in-coma-after-punishment/90482-3.html

Find any similarity in the news? Well both report the unfortunate death of schoolgirl in the school in Delhi and both these happened around the same time.

Did you find any dissimilarity? If you would have read carefully you would observe that in one of the news article the school name and location is not mentioned whereas for the other school almost the entire address is mentioned.

The school details which are not mentioned are for an "elite" Delhi school while all the details are mentioned about the municipal school where the other accident happened.

Clearly double standards by the CNN-IBN also. Goes on length to prove that news channels are definitely biased in their reporting.

It will definitely take a long time for me to start believing that CNN-IBN news are not biased.

Note: I left these comments on the CNN–IBN site, but looks like they don't like taking feedback on their biased reporting.

Just observed TOI's report mentions complete details - http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Cities/Aakritis-parents-seek-action-against-school/articleshow/4437405.cms

A day in Hyderabad...

another blog on the fly. well this one is while coming back from Hyderabad. yeah came here for few hours, well started from Chennai after bunking my extra class and reached here in the morning. For those who are still wondering how come I started bunking the class, I came here to meet my sister

Well Hyderabad pretty much looks like Bhopal as in the old Hyderabad city. With the latest addition of hitech city it is much bigger than Bhopal. The thing which brought the similarities of the two cities was people speaking urdu, watching signs in urdu and hindi (a sweet break from Chennai where finding someone speaking urdu is one of the great achievement you can count) and well the Necklace road seeing which I only think of bada talaab and the lake view drive.

This time it was just an 'overview' visit, where I did not go out at all. hoping to have a proper trip someday.

its time to blogout and go to sleep...
